Alex was born in Norilsk, Russia. He graduated from Kuban State University in Krasnodar, Russia earning his BA degree in English and Literature. Following that, he studied in Hope College in Holland, Michigan majoring in Political Science and History. In 1996 he passed US State Department test for a contract interpreter for the Office of Language Services. He is currently U.S. Department of State seminar and conference level contract Russian interpreter. Additionally, he passed the tests for California Court Interpreter Division and DEA. Alex has also worked as interpreter and translator for US Centcom and US Eurocom within the framework of the US Department of Defense. His areas of expertise include military, law enforcement, public diplomacy, legal, immigration, oil and gas, and medical.
